45 Caliber Smokeless Bullets
45-cal 170g Round Nosed Flat Point Bullets
45 Caliber 170 gr bullet for rifle or pistol. This is a cut-down smokeless 45 cal "gamer" bullet to reduce felt recoil in that big 45 Colt.
Weight reduction comes at the cost of bearing surface so this is not the bullet to shoot long range groups with. Keep your powder charge from being too light and it should perform very well at Cowboy and normal target 'plinkin' distances. Standard Oglive means it should work well in 45 cal rifles but 45 colt rifles are known for their ability to be picky about their ammo...so consider e-mailing me and we can put together a special "trial package" if your rifle has shown a tendency to not like a shorter AOL. I lube these with only the finest lube in it's tiny lube groove and NOT available in hard-cast. This bullet needs the orbutration of a softer alloy. More difficult to cast and lube than most profiles but the 30g to 80g weight savings over most 45 bullets is huge. Sold in 50 count trays.

45 cal-200g-Round Nosed Flat Point
45 cal-200g RNFP smokeless bullet that is a standard for 45 Long Colt in Cowboy Action Shooting. This is a cut-down smokeless 45 cal "gamer" bullet to reduce felt recoil in that big 45 Colt.
This 200g bullet is considered light by Elmer Keith standards and he proved that the 45 LC revolver can be very accurate with larger bullets. This bullet gives you lighter weight for reduced recoil and good accuracy at normal pistol ranges. Next to 38cal 130g RNFP, this bullet is a close second in popularity for Cowboy shooters. Sold in 50 count trays.
