From the desk of DASH CALIBER:

If you are reading this site there is a good chance that you, just like me, reload ammunition. You probably started out in your shooting trying to use factory ammunition and quickly realized that you…

(a)…. Couldn’t get the ammo exactly like you wanted it.

(b)….buying it factory made was cost prohibited.

Then a more experienced shooter turned you on to reloading and when you consider the cost of equipment you could justify the increased quality and decreased costs. That’s were lead bullets came in for me. Jacketed bullets were VERY expensive and illegal for the steel targets that dominate Cowboy Action Shooting. Available in a wide variety of calibers and profiles, lead bullets can very safely fill just as wide a variety of needs. And if one watches his components costs… significant savings in loaded ammo can be produced and you shoot more for the same dollar and that was something I liked.

As I became more experienced in reloading ammo, I just wasn’t satisfied with a lot of the lead bullets being produced. For the lower velocity of target and competition shooting I wanted a softer alloy for better engagement of the rifling to increase accuracy and seal. For my Black Powder Shooting, I needed a whole different selection of lubes and bullet profiles and for Long Distance Shooting; I needed bullet profiles that a lot of manufacturers have simply discarded.  So being a retired, yet still active, executive and seeing a need, I braced myself for this endeavor.

I sell you what I shoot myself. My bullets come to you in the alloy you specify and the lube you specify. I source foundry lead… not dirty scrap of unknown composition. I don’t drop a bunch of “rocks” in a box and say shoot this. All my bullets are packed in trays and vacuum sealed so they arrive to you like they looked when I made them. You simply take the tray and turn it upside down on your loading bench. No counting or sorting and the softer high quality lubes are still in tact. Use the tray to put your completed round in. Yes, that costs a little more but it’s the way I like to get them. You deserve the same.

Actually, you deserve better. That’s my company motto. I want you to have my product in the same quality manner that satisfies me. Actually, I shoot the bullets I reject. If you are shooting beside me, you will know I sold you the best and I sell myself the rest. Anything else gets remelted.

I have interests in other styles of shooting and I always want to talk to and subsequently learn from those customers. If I don’t have what you want…If you have questions or concerns…or if you just want to talk about shooting. I would love to hear from you. Now we are not located inside the city limits of Covington, GA. and it is hard to answer the phone when you have ¾ lb. of 700 degree molten lead in your hand, but we try. Some bullets are made by a noisy machine but you would be surprised at the numbers that are still produced in the hand method used since the invention of the bullet.  If you can e-mail me at dashcaliber@yahoo.com you will always get me personally. I will always be thankful to you and God for your business and support.

Have a Blessed Day.
